Go-Pro cameras can’t text or make calls

Tasked to make good stuff for social and to demonstrate the features of the video powerhouse Nokia Lumia Icon with a shareable campaign that could be produced and posted within two weeks. The content was shot entirely on the Nokia Lumia Icon and strapped to skis, bikes, and race cars. We pushed the camera’s capabilities to the limits. The proof is in the footage. This was a social first, digital campaign.

One jump shattered two bike cranks. All five phones survived.

At 150mph the G-Force caused the video quality to warble a bit. Not too shabby for a phone. The campaign launched on Facebook and Twitter, earning thousands of likes, shares and re-tweets.

 

Launched the Windows 10 Instagram on the eve of Windows 10 global product launch.

And created a steady stream of educational, promotional, engaging social media-specific content to pique and maintain interest in Windows 10 OS, Windows apps, and new Windows 10-ready PCs. 

There was a lot of excitement around the building of Windows 10 with the Windows Insider Program. These Insiders were flown to Redmond for an event and they proved to make great social content before launch.

We made social content of people moving the world forward from all over the globe. “People of Action” as we call them, are Microsoft’s tribe. The People of Action Collection included 250 stories about real People of Action, who use Windows to make their odd, beautiful, ambitious dreams come true. Their stories were used throughout Microsoft, and it began as a social-first global initiative.

Some old Microsoft favs, because getting that email perfect was the best thing you did all quarter – relish in it.

Microsoft was unlikeable. People in offices are dorky. We compared them to great sports moments and lightened it up a bit.
